What Will it Take to Win?

It may be cliche to say that elections are won “one vote at a time” but it’s still true.

Our efforts will be directed at reaching every voter in Eustis and sharing Michael’s message.  We’ll tell them how he plans to bring economic redevelopment to ALL of Eustis, not just Downtown and the 441 Corridor.

We’ll describe his frustration with pockets of County residents who share our resources (roads, water, etc.) without sharing the tax burden.

And we’ll offer his plan for a more vibrant city that attracts businesses (and jobs) instead of driving them away.

That means we’ll walk door to door, offering pamphlets that outline his vision for the city and handing out yard signs.

Another group of our volunteers will be responsible for securing locations for larger signs (3′ x 6′) that will feature our yard sign and a large picture of Michael.

In addition, we’ll mail items to area residents and make important phone calls to spread the word.  Who knows, if our volunteer ranks are strong enough, we might even drive people to early voting and to the polls on November 4th.

And because this campaign is about the future of Eustis and what Michael can do to make our community a better place, there is one thing we will not do:

WE WILL NOT BADMOUTH OR DEMEAN OUR COMPETITION.

No matter who joins Michael in this race for Seat 3, we will be cordial and positive.  No matter what attacks may be launched by a competitor or comments made by onlookers, this campaign is a positive one and will remain upbeat and forward-focused.

And while we believe that Michael Holland is the best candidate for this commission seat, we respect anyone who chooses to offer their own name for consideration.

This election is for the future of Eustis.  And that future is more important than any one person or family.

Specifically, what will it take to win?

Your faith in our candidate.  Your help to spread the word.  And, in the end, your vote.
